My thoughts

I have read 6 books by Colleen Hoover. All of them have left me infatuated. I had a tougher time getting into this story but once I was in. I was in deep. The stories and love Colleen writes drag you in by your heart. This story hit me so harder than I expected. I was up til 1 am UGLY crying. If your a mom or a parent in general this book will 100% make you cry.

Tate is a strong independent women. Who is focused on her nursing career. Miles is a hard to read man who seems to have no feelings. Except for the first night they met. You are pulled into this story right away when Tate finds Miles blackout drunk outside of her brothers apartment. Where Tate will now be living. Little did she know Miles lives across the hall.

Your curiosity is peaked when Miles is found because not only is he blackout drunk but he is also crying. Why is he crying and calling Tate by another girls name? Well you definitely want to keep reading to find out…

I honestly thought for a minute that I wasn’t going top enjoy this book. Colleen writes this book from 2 perspectives and from present to past to give you the full circle. At first it was a little confusing. You start at Tates perspective and move onto Miles. She also take you back through Miles past throughout this story. It starts off catching your attention, and then you get into a lull. You feel the chemistry between Miles and Tate. You want no you need them to be together. I didn’t understand why the hell Miles was being so difficult. Why he wouldn’t just allow himself to love Tate. Only willing to go so far with her. One thing I promise you is it all makes sense when you find out about Miles past. My heart literally broke in two for him. I cried and cried. It all came together; why he was so closed off I think anyone would be. The ending was just EVERYTHING!!! This book made its way into my heart and soul. I never loved two characters more. This love story was unlike anything else I have read. It is burned into my heart forever and ever. Tate saved Miles. She reminded him what love was.
